why it matters
Role menus are slow for staff
Giving a role through Discord's member menu takes several taps, and handing out Manage Roles to junior staff is risky because it covers every role below theirs.
Custom role commands let you create an alias for each role. Choose who can use it with a required role, so staff can give "VIP" or "Guest" without full role permissions. Every change is written to Discord's audit log and your mod log with who did it.

Questions about Custom Role Commands
How do I let staff give roles without Manage Roles?
Create a custom role command with a required role: "setup create vip @VIP @Staff". Members with @Staff can then give or remove @VIP with "vip @user" without having Manage Roles.
Are role changes logged?
Yes. Discord's audit log shows who ran the command, and Krypton posts the change to your mod log.
Is it free?
